The Norwich Diocesan Office has announced the cancellation of all public Masses effective immediately until further notice. Daily/weekend Masses may be viewed on EWTN or online. Streamed Mass options can be found on the Diocesan website www.norwichdiocese.org/coronavirus. Fr. David will be celebrating private daily Mass at Most Holy Trinity that will include all scheduled Mass Intentions of M.H.T and St. Mary's. Fr. Steve will be celebrating private daily Mass at St. Joseph that include all scheduled intentions of St. Joe's and St. Stephen's. Continued support of our parish is greatly appreciated. Offertory envelopes &/or checks made out to your preferred church, (NOT St. Therese) can be mailed to St. Therese Parish, P.O. Box 665, Putnam, CT 06260.
Also cancelled are any scheduled gatherings such as Stations of the Cross, Bible Studies, Religious Education Classes, Adoration, Prayer Groups, etc.
St. Mary's Church, Putnam, will be open for private prayer Mon - Thur, 8am - 2pm and Friday, 8am-12pm. St. Joseph's Church, North Grosvenordale, will be open Mon - Fri, 9am - 4pm. When attending either church for individual prayer time, PLEASE BE SURE TO KEEP SOCIAL DISTANCING AND ALL HEALTH PROTOCOLS!
Parish Bulletins are available at all rectory porches as well as this website.
Religious Education Registrations for 20-21 are being mailed out to families. Parents should have heard from Catechists regarding the lessons to be working on while we are homebound. No decisions have yet been made on R.C.I.A., Confirmation, or First Communion celebrations.
We will do our best to have timely updates as things progress. In the meantime, keep praying!!!
